High international standards and medical procedures are the indicators of the efficiency of all Amethyst Radiotherapy centers.
High international standards and medical procedures are the indicators of the efficiency of all Amethyst Radiotherapy centers. Therefore, they should be updated in order to reflect developing changes in treatment methods and technologies under implementation.

The health and safety of the patients and the staff handling high-tech medical equipment depend on the quality which is a key element in the field of oncology, including radiotherapy. It is therefore very important  to analyse and update medical procedures so that they work as for the best comfort of the patients as for the effectiveness of their treatment.

The latest medical Amethyst Radiotherapy protocols have been officially presented at the September Annual Amethyst Meeting in Bucharest. The Amethyst International Scientific Board  has been working on them for two years. Now, until 8th of November2017 is the time for the last internal analysis, reports, comments and requests. The final verification will be performed in Gelsenkirchen during the next Amethyst International Medical Board meeting. Currently, there are six medical protocols for the following areas of radiotherapy and treatment: breast, prostate, lung, head and neck, gastrointestinal tracts and gynecological. The official date of their entry into force is 1st of December 2017
