The international network of radiotherapy centers Amethyst Radiotherapy systematically grows. Institutions in France, Poland and Romania have just adopted another radiotherapy center in Italy.

The new radiotherapy center is in the immediate vicinity of Ospedale San Giovanni Calibita Fatebenefratelli, a hospital operating on the Tiber Island in Rome. The medical team consists of nearly 30 specialists. Currently, patients are treated with three linear accelerators and IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy) technology, but in the nearest future, due to the planned equipment provided by the Amethyst it will be possible to significantly increase access to highly specialized radiotherapeutic procedures.

The long-term goal of the Amethyst Radiotherapy Network is to systematically develop and implement the latest developments in higher education with the highest quality standards.
